BORN FROM A LIFELONG DREAM
After completing her studies at Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, Australia, and gaining experience at renowned establishments such as Bennelong Restaurant and Koi Dessert Bar, Lalita Setiandi returned to her hometown of Jakarta, Indonesia, to pursue her lifelong dream of opening a bakehouse.
This dream became a reality with the founding of LIT Bakehouse, nestled in the heart of Jakarta’s Chinatown, Glodok.
The name LIT comes from Lalita’s nickname and represents our mission to brighten people’s days with fresh, handcrafted baked goods.
